In the sternum and spine, molded MD foam is combined with PE inserts for solid impact resistance. And for the biceps, Bauer uses a one-piece construction with molded PE foams for good upper-arm protection.

Their Vent Armor foam, included in the front side panels, not only adds an extra layer of protection, but also is uniquely designed to ventilate air, making the pads more breathable. With this feature, young players will stay cool and comfortable on the ice while remaining protected.

Inside the shoulder pads, Bauer includes their high-end THERMO MAX+ liner. Used in some of Bauer’s top senior protective models this liner has excellent moisture-wicking properties, helping to eliminate sweat to keep players cool on the ice.
