The Tacks 5092 Shin Guards utilize a traditional two piece construction and are perfect for the recreational to intermediate player looking for solid protection in a cost effective package. CCM structured the 5092s with a ribbed shin shell for extra strength and deflecting capabilities and their JDP knee cap design to disperse impacts away from the knee joint. The 5092s feature a calf wrap structured with anatomically molded PE inserts and a medium-density foam knee wing to enhance shot block protection.
Inside these shins, CCM brought back their removable enhanced mesh liner with segmented low-density foams for extra protection and custom fit. The 5092s are equipped with a newly designed wrap lock strap and a thick elastic calf strap to secure these shins in place. At the base of the shell, CCM included a foam wrap to reduce wear and tear on your skates.
