These new pants are packed with new and improved features and improved padding in key areas,and provide a great all round level of protection for the recreational or entry-level player.

Features
The construction of the Super Tacks 9040 Hockey Pants feature CCM 400D lightweight nylon with side reinforcement! This premium-quality nylon is highly lightweight and durable!
The kidney areas are also well protected thanks to moulded caps that provide players with pro level protection against direct impacts!
Moulded spine protector
 This setup provides players with great protection and comfort.
Just below the spine protection, on both sides, is where you will find the JDP hip caps! This high-level cap construction for the hips was designed to disperse the force of direct impacts away from sensitive hip joints. Further enhancing the hip protection are PE foams, which add an extra layer of protection to this area.
 This provides players with good level protection and great mobility as well.
CCM used their JDP cap protection for the hip guards, which is designed to disperse impact energy away from the joint. The kidney and lower thigh guards are moulded PE caps that provide solid coverage while low-density foams increase comfort and feel. The lower spine is well protected by a hard, closed-cell foam that is reinforced by a plastic insert and low-density foam.
The exterior is constructed with 400D nylon and polyester for a great mix of durability and breathability. Stretch gussets run down the centre and down each leg to maximise stride mobility. The 9040's have a traditional style fit with a skate lace closure system, adjustable nylon belt, and zippered pant legs that offer more volume around the legs.
